RECREATION & CLUBS:

Skating Rink:

The Town of Bredenbury is blessed to have a large artificial ice skating rink arena. This facility can accommodate at least 500 people, with bleachers on both sides. The Senior hockey team that plays in Bredenbury is the Triangle Hockley League, they are called the Bredenbury Cougars. The rink boasts a fully functional kitchen, serving the best homemade burgers.

Lions Club:

The Town of Bredenbury also has a very active Lions Club. The Lions meet the first and third Tuesday of every month for meetings at 87:30 p.m.; except summer holidays. The Lions have done several projects in our community over the years: such as a Children's Playground and Park, Annual Sliding Party, Mother and Father's Day Brunch, Community Christmas Social, etc.

United Church:

In Bredenbury there is the Knox United Church. Church Sessions are held every Sunday at 9:30 a.m. Events are often hosted by the church group such as: monthly noon luncheons and Annual Christmas craft show. Choir practice is also held every Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.

Bredenbury Busy Bees (Senior Club):

The Bredenbury Busy Bees is a Senior Club in Bredenbury. The Bee Hive hosts Monday morning and Monday afternoon coffee and desert. They also have a Health Clinic every month and Whist Drives four times a year. They have meetings every second Monday of the month at 4:00 p.m. The Busy Bee Club is also rented out as a meeting room or family gathering place.

Community Hall:

The Town of Bredenbury has a community hall with a full functioning kitchen. The Hall can be rented for your event. The hall seats approximately 150 people.

Golf Course:

Bredenbury Golf Course has a 9 hole artifical green golf course. There are several golf tournaments that are hosted throughout the year, even a Night Golf Tournament. Yearly membership is required, or a day pass paid on the honour system. The golf course also has a very nice outdoor deck.
