COMMUNITY HALL
The Community Hall hosts a Monday Night Bingo every week, except for the month of July, and bingo's are occassionally cancelled because of holidays and weather. A Jackpot of $1000 is offered. Most games pay $20, with extra games being half of the intake.
LIONS CLUB
Bredenbury has a very active Lions Club. They volunteer their services throughout the year. They host community BBQ’s; purchase playground equipment; purchase Christmas Concert candy, and much more. To become a Lions Member in Bredenbury, call the town office at 306-898-2055 for a contact number. The Lions Club offers morning coffee for everyone from 9:45a.m.-11:00 a.m. for $1, on Tuesday-Friday.
BUSY BEES SENIOR CENTRE
The Busy Bees in Bredenbury offer coffee days once a week, Monday mornings and Monday afternoons. This is a time when neighboring communities come out and enjoy a visit. The Busy Bees also have game nights, when people come to Bredenbury to play whist.
PLAYGROUND
The Playground is located on 3rd Street, which is our main street. The playground equipment was donated by the Lion’s Club and erected by members and volunteers within the community. The children in town love to play at the playground and the parents feel safe with them there.
PICNIC AREA
Across from the restaurant there is a nice, clean park, with picnic tables; people are able to enjoy a picnic on a warm sunny day.
BALL DIAMOND
Bredenbury has a recreation area, where there are ball diamonds for anyone interested in gathering together a couple of teams to play ball for the day.
FISHING
Bredenbury is only 40 minutes from The Lake of the Prairies, where some of the largest and tastiest fish are caught. Fish species include: Walleye, Perch, Pike, Dog Fish.
HUNTING
Surrounding Bredenbury is some of the best whitetail deer hunting. Many large whitetail deer have been taken in the area. There is lots of bush in the area, where they like to live. Other smalgame that is prominent in the area is waterfowl, grouse, partridges, coyotes, foxes and rabbits.
WALKING
Bredenbury is a great place to walk. The streets in Bredenbury are all paved, and in good condition. People, during the summer months are always taking a stroll, rollerblading, or biking throughout town.
GOLFING
Bredenbury has its own 9 hole golf course with artificial greens. They frequently hold tournaments. They also have a ladies golf day.
CHURCH
Knox United Church is located in town. Services are held every Sunday at 9:30 a.m. Choir practice is on Thursday at 7:30 p.m.
LIBRARY
There is a Parkland Regional Library in our community. It is open Tuesdays 9:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m.; Wednesdays 4:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m.; Saturdays 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.
